PhD in Political Science
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy, Graduate Institute Geneva (IHEID).
I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2019), with Comparative Politics and Methodology as main fields. Before IHEID I was a postdoc shared between Uppsala and Lund in Sweden, and held positions as lecturer of Methodology at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and as a Fellow at the Weatherhead Center at Harvard University.
My research addresses: democratic survival in contexts of high inequality; how elites' perceptions of and reactions to the externalities of inequality affects distributive outcomes; and the politics of land reform, with focus on Latin America and South Africa.
I am also a superb cook.
