I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science
at Universidad Diego Portales where I teach research methods.

My work focuses on enhancing causal inference by integrating probability theory into small-n studies, for instance by developing new models to calculate p-values in process tracing.

My research also addresses how elites' reactions to the externalities of inequality shape patterns of redistribution and democratic governance, with a regional focus on Latin America and South Africa.
In addition, I am affiliated with the
Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy at the
Geneva Graduate Institute,
and a superb cook.
